The Roman Theater:
Located in the heart of Amman, the Roman Theater dates back to the 2nd century AD during the reign of Emperor Antoninus Pius. Its design consists of three semicircular tiers that can accommodate approximately 6,000 spectators. The theater was used for theatrical performances, musical concerts, and sporting events and is distinguished by its unique architectural acoustics.
The Odeon:
A small theater next to the Roman Theater, the Odeon dates back to the early 2nd century AD. It was used for artistic and cultural performances and could accommodate around 500 spectators. The structure is notable for its three western entrance gates.
