Located southeast of the capital Amman, near Queen Alia International Airport, the palace is surrounded by a square-shaped wall with 25 towers. The main entrance of the palace is situated in the middle of the southern facade, flanked by two octagonal towers. This stone facade is decorated with geometric motifs (triangles) and botanical patterns (acanthus flowers and grapevine clusters), in addition to some animal motifs.
In 1903, part of this facade was transported to Germany as a gift from the Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid II to Emperor Wilhelm II. It is currently displayed at the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, Germany
