Kids under 12 enter free, and Arabs are charged the Jordanian rate.

Madaba Archaeological Park

Located in the heart of Madaba, near the Visitor Center, the Archaeological Park features numerous historical landmarks dating back to the Bronze, Roman, Byzantine, Umayyad, Abbasid, Mamluk, and late Ottoman periods.



Among the most significant sites within the park are the remains of the paved Roman path, the Hall of Hippolytus, the Church of the Prophet Elijah (Elias), the Crypt of Saint Elianus, the Church of the Virgin Mary and the hanging mosaic murals.
